Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has joined Yorkshire County Cricket Club as its overseas signing, the club announced on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old will play five One Day Cup matches before returning to Headingley for three of the final four County Championship fixtures in September.
He will make his Yorkshire bow against Glamorgan in Neath on Friday.
The left-armer has claimed 79 wickets at an average of 22, with a best return of 5-40 across his 18 Test matches. He starred against England in 2024, taking 19 wickets across the five-match series.
In ODI’s he has been even more prolific, taking 194 wickets with a best of 6-25.
“I’m really pleased to be joining Yorkshire and grateful for this opportunity. It will be a real privilege to represent a Club with Yorkshire’s proud history,” Kuldeep said.
“I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of playing in English conditions, and after speaking with the management, I became really excited to join up with the team. I’m looking forward to making a positive contribution during my time at Headingley,” he added.
