CWG 2026: Swimming full schedule, date and time in IST, medal sessions, Indians in action


India will be looking to record its first medal in swimming at the Commonwealth Games since 2010 when the latest edition of the Games begins on July 23.

Para-swimmer Prasanta Karmakar won the bronze medal in 2010 in the 50 metre freestyle category, which is India’s previous and only medal so far in swimming.

A five member contigent, comprising of Sajan Prakash, Aneesh Gowda, Srihari Nataraj, Aryan Nehra, and Dharshan Shashikumar will represent the country in the 2026 edition.

The swimming event will begin on July 24 and culminate on July 29.

July 29 – 3PM-4:45PM,  11:30PM-2:30AM (July 30)
