India bagged four medals at the Asian Games 2026 on Monday, after Himanshu Dhillon and Rudrankksh Patil added individual medals to their men’s team silver from earlier in the day.
Himanshu and Rudrankksh won silver and bronze, respectively, in the 10m air rifle event, while Parth Mane was the third member of the rifle team. Suchika Tariyal added a bronze to the tally in the women’s traditional 60kg MMA.
On Sunday, Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Uttam Maskar and Vidarsa K. Vinod had won silver in the women’s team event in 10m air rifle. Elavenil then finished second in the individual final to make it a double.
India is currently placed 12th in the medals tally. China is top of the standings with 38 medals, which include 23 gold medals.
