Bhatia raced past fifty in just 45 balls and upped her scoring rate soon after. She hit two fours against Knott in the 32nd over to push India A past 200 before taking on Knott in her next over, smashing two fours and a six to bring up a 79-ball century.
Once Bhatia fell in the 36th over, it was Anushka Sharma’s turn to pile on the agony, as she hit an unbeaten 46-ball 60 to take India A to 338 for 6. For Australia, Darcie Brown picked up 3 for 39, while Milly Illingworth returned 2 for 44.
Mani accounted for Wilson and Knott while Vaishnavi Sharma removed Katie Mack as Australia slipped to 219 for 5 from 202 for 2. Tess Flintoff and Hayley Silver-Holmes, however, held their own in a 65-run sixth-wicket stand.
There was another brief collapse late in the innings, but Illingworth scored an unbeaten 22 off 14 to take Australia A to victory with three balls to spare and square the series 1-1.
