Mohit Sharma is likely to join Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as bowling coach for the 2027 season.

The 38-year-old former India pacer retired from all forms of cricket late last year. He has represented CSK as a player for four years across two spells from 2013-15 and 2019.

The Haryana fast bowler will be the first support staff to join the Super Kings under new head coach Zaheer Khan.

Mohit played 26 ODIs and eight T20Is for India. In the 2023 IPL final against CSK, Mohit while playing for Gujarat Titans conceded 10 off the last two balls bowling to Ravindra Jadeja as the Chennai side clinched its fifth title.
