CERT-In flags vulnerabilities across Apple, Google products | India News

NEW DELHI: Cyber security watchdog CERT-In has reported vulnerabilities across Apple products which could be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary codes on the devices. It also warned about “multiple vulnerabilities” in Android which could be exploited by an attacker to “obtain sensitive information, gain elevated privileges, and cause denial of service condition.”
Regarding Apple, CERT-In said the products include Safari and iOS versions on certain products of Macbook, iPad, iPhone, and even Vision Pro.”A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a victim to visit specially crafted request.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute an arbitrary code on the targeted system,” CERT-In said. The cyber watchdog said “multiple vulnerabilities” have also been reported in Google Chrome that could enable an attacker to cause denial of service, information disclosure, and execute arbitrary code.
