NEW DELHI: Four terrorists were on Friday killed as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir’s Machil sector.
According to Kashmir Zone police, the terrorists were trying to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) when the Army and police killed them in a joint operation.
Security forces had foiled an infiltration bid last Friday as well when five terrorists were killed in Jumagund area of Keran sector.
The terrorists, seasoned in guerilla warfare in the Afghan-Pakistan theatre, were trying to infiltrate into the Indian territory in the Jumagund area of J&K’s Kupwara district late Thursday night.
