The FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached its business end, with one team set to be crowned champion out of the 48 teams that took part in the tournament on June 11.
This is the 23rd edition of the quadrennial tournament and has been co-hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico.
The tournament saw Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe overtake Miroslav Klose in the list of all-time top scorers, bringing an end to the German’s 12-year reign at the top.
