India’s athletics challenge at the Commonwealth Games 2026 came to an end with the country’s quartet finishing sixth in the Mixed 4x400m relay final on Saturday.
The Indian team comprising Vishal T. K., Ansa Babu, Santhosh Kumar Tamilarasan, and Rashdeep Kaur clocked 3:20.32.
The gold medal was clinched by Jamaica, which clocked 3:10.97. England took silver with 3:11.58, while Nigeria bagged bronze with 3:12.85.
India had finished fourth in Heat 2 of the first round, clocking 3:20.98 to advance on time.
