Indian squash player Anahat Singh advanced to the round of 16 at the Qterminals Qatar Classic 2026 in Doha with a 3-1 victory over Egypt’s Farida Mohamed on Saturay.
The Qatar Classic is a PSA World Tour Platinum level event.
In a match that went to four games, Anahat triumphed 13-11, 3-11, 11-7, 11-7 over the 24-year-old to make the prequarterfinals where she will face Belgium’s Tinne Gilis, who is the top seed and ranked ninth in the world.
However, Abhay Singh and Veer Chotrani were eliminated in the first round.
Switzerland’s Dimitri Steinmann took down 11-7, 11-9, 14-12 while New Zealand’s Paul Coll outclassed Veer 11-2, 11-3, 11-1.
