Indian sprinter Animesh Kujur won silver in men’s 200m on the second day of the New Taipei City Athletics Championships 2026 in Taipei on Sunday.
Kujur clocked 20.47s, some way off his National Record-setting timing of 20.32s. He finished behind Thailand’s Puripol Boonson, who eased to first place in 20.03 seconds.
On Saturday, long jumper Shaili Singh and the women’s 4x100m relay team won a gold medal each while Tejas Shirse bagged a silver in the 110m hurdles.
