The Commonwealth Games 2026 reaches its final day in Glasgow on Saturday, with India entering Day 10 in 10th place on the medal table. The country has won 25 medals so far, comprising seven gold, 12 silver and six bronze.
India added seven medals on Friday. Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh delivered the country’s first Commonwealth Games judo gold medals, while Yamini Mourya took silver. Neeraj Chopra finished second in the men’s javelin throw, with Yash Vir Singh claiming bronze, while Tejaswin Shankar secured decathlon bronze.
The final day offers India several opportunities to improve its position. Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu feature in the men’s triple jump final, while Priyanka and Ravina contest the women’s 10,000m race walk. Gulveer Singh returns for the men’s 5000m, with further medal events in pole vault and para athletics. India will also have several boxers competing in finals, beginning with Preeti, while the judokas return for another round of medal contests.
