India won 61 medals in the 2022 Games at Birmingham but the task at hand will be much more difficult in 2026, for many of the sports India has traditionally dominated in have been removed like badminton, hockey, table tennis, and wrestling just to name a few.
However, with that being said, India’s 126-member contingent, consisting of the likes of Neeraj Chopra, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, Murali Sreeshankar, India has enough firepower in its ranks to bring home the medals in multiple events.
