CWG 2026: Who are the youngest and oldest Indians participating in the Games?


At just 16-years-old, para-cyclist Lisha Singh will be India’s youngest athlete at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Lisha will

Lisha, who will be India’s sole representative in the cycling event, will also become the second youngest sportsperson to represent India at the Games, after Anahat Singh, who made her debut in the womens singles squash event in the 2022 edition at just 14-years-old.

On the other end of the age spectrum, Dinesh Kumar, taking part in the lawn bowls event, will be India’s oldest athlete at the Games at 49-years-old.

Dinesh was part of the four member contingent that won the silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
