FIA overturns Gasly’s Monaco podium: Hadjar restored to third for Red Bull Racing

The FIA’s International Court of Appeal has issued its final verdict on the Monaco Grand Prix, reinstating Redbull Racing’s Isack Hadjar to third place and stripping Alpine’s Pierre Gasly of his podium finish.

Pierre Gasly initially crossed the line in P3 but was hit with two five-second penalties for pit-lane speeding, which dropped him to seventh and promoted Hadjar. That decision was temporarily overturned after the F1 stewards accepted Alpine’s evidence of a timing error, but McLaren and Red Bull Racing appealed against that reversal.

The ICA has now ruled again in its favor, upholding the original penalties and updating the official results of the race and the points accordingly.
