When Kevin Hart appears in an action comedy, it’s usually opposite the likes of The Rock or Ice Cube. But per The Wrap, he’s switching things up for a new, yet-to-be-titled example of the genre, taking a lead role this time alongside Henry Cavill.

McG, who most recently released Netflix sci-fi adventure ‘Uglies,’ will direct the new film, once more based at the streaming service. Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps company is aboard to produce alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort.

What’s the story of the new Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart movie?
Henry Cavill is Agent Argylle in ‘Argylle,’ directed by Matthew Vaughn.
Adapted from a Sean Lewis short story by, Adam & Aaron Nee and Jonathan Tropper, the film follows two rival spies who cross paths in a Lamaze class, and whose wives become fast friends.
Their double lives subsequently collide in unexpectedly hilarious and dangerous ways, forcing the two men to reluctantly become confidantes and partners on the road to fatherhood.

Hart was last seen on the big screen in ‘Borderlands’ but has been starring in and producing a variety of TV projects, including ‘Lil Kev,’‘LOL Live’ and ‘Funny AF with Kevin Hart.’
Coming up, he reprises the role of Franklin ‘Mouse’ Finbar in ‘Jumanji: Open World’ (due December 25) and will also be seen in bachelor party comedy ‘72 Hours,’ to be released on Netflix on July 24.
