Ivory Coast is set to take on Curacao in its final Group E assignement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 at the Philadelphia Stadium on Thursday.
Ivory Coast is second in the group with three points with an automatic qualification to the Round of 32 still in its own hands.
A victory or a draw against Curacao will be enough for the Elephants to qualify for the knockouts for the first time in their history.
In the event Ivory Coast and Ecuador finish with four points each, the former will finish second due to its superior head-to-head record after its opening gameweek 1-0 win.
In its second game, Ivory Coast fell to a late goal to Germany in its second game.
Germany has already qualified as table-topper and will take on Ecuador in its final group game.
