India will tour Sri Lanka in August 2026 for a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
The opening Test will be played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium from August 15 to 19, before the action shifts to the Singhalese Sports Club in Colombo for the second Test from August 23 to 27.
Both matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM local time.
India, still chasing its first World Test Championship title after two runner-up finishes, is currently fifth in the 2025-27 standings, with Sri Lanka sixth.
India last toured Sri Lanka for a Test series in 2017, sweeping the host 3-0.
