NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday took a swipe at Eknath Shinde, saying the Maharashtra deputy chief minister has “given birth to traitors” after six rebel Lok Sabha MPs of Sena (UBT) formally joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena.This is the latest in a series of controversial remarks by Raut since reports of a rebellion first began making rounds. Only three of the party’s nine Lok Sabha MPs attended that meeting.The six who crossed over are Sanjay Deshmukh (Yavatmal), Sanjay Jadhav (Parbhani), Sanjay Dina Patil (Mumbai North East), Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar (Hingoli), Omprakash Rajenimbalkar (Dharashiv), and Bhausaheb Wakchaure (Shirdi).(With PTI inputs)
