Vinicius Jr. signed a new deal with Real Madrid, extending his stay at Los Blancos until 2032, the La Liga club announced on Thursday.
The 26-year-old, who has been one of the lynchpins of Real Madrid’s attack in recent years, had been linked with a possible move to Premier League side Arsenal.
Vinicius has scored 128 goals for Real and provided 100 assists, with the club reluctant to let one of its prized assets leave for free next year.

He had a busy summer playing for Brazil at the World Cup, where it was knocked out in the last 16, and his focus now is on preparing for the new campaign.
Earlier today, Madrid announced the signing of Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for a club record fee of around €140 million.
