Vinicius Jr and Raphinha were on target as Brazil beat Australia 4-2 in their international friendly at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Tuesday.
The win comes as a positive result for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, which was held to a 1-1 draw by the same opponent in Queensland four days ago. India will next travel to Kolkata to face India at the Salt Lake Stadium on October 3.
Brazilian right-back Vanderson opened the scoring in the third minute with a strike from the edge of the box. The home side responded with two goals in five minutes, with Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe finding the back of the net.

However, parity was restored before half-time after Raphinha converted from the spot after Australia was penalised for Harry Souttar’s foul on Danilo Santos.
Bruno Guimarães then put Brazil in front again, scoring from close range after meeting a pass from Endrick. Vinicius then won and converted a penalty in the 80th minute to put the game to bed.
“Great, entertaining, open game,” Ancelotti said in a post-match news conference.
“Australia tried to attack, we tried to attack. From our side, a good game. They reacted really well … put a lot of pressure on us, high intensity and in some moments we had difficulty,” he added.
