The 28-year-old walked off the field unbeaten on 250 off 300 balls, having faced just one ball in Ricky Bhui’s over with East at a commanding total that was past 600 runs.
Kishan appeared under some discomfort and called for the physio before going off retired hurt. However, the exact reason or the extent of his injury was not revealed.
The BCCI official scorecard showed him as retired hurt, which means the southpaw can return to carry on his innings.
