India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana now has the second-most runs in the history of international women’s cricket across formats.
The opener achieved this feat during India’s Women’s Asia Cup 2026 match against Thailand where she scored a 10-ball 19. During this knock, she went past New Zealand great Suzie Bates to take the second spot in the all-time list.
Former India captain Mithali Raj continues to remain the highest-ever scorer in women’s internationals, but her former teammate Smriti is just 113 runs away from breaking the record.
